Here we look at some of the easiest chord substitution tricks - you'll be able to substitute any chord with a completely different one after competing this lesson.
This is the perfect lesson for beginning chord substitution!

Homework: Write down some charts (like the ones in the video) in other keys and have some fun with this - Find more chord relationships and write those down as well... Use these tricks with other chord progressions.
The idea is - after this lesson - any beginner will be able to easily substitute chords on the fly.
Chord substitution is not only a great way to spice up a chord progression but you can also choose an easier chord to play - for example: You will learn here that you can play a Dm7 rather than a more complicated F major 7 chord.
